Ed Sheeran has announced that Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol is his daughter's godfather. The Bad Habits singer, 30, is close pals with the Northern Irish artist, 44, and introduced him to his eight-year partner, Courteney Cox of Friends. Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn had their daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran in September of last year. ‘I introduced her to my best pal Johnny, with whom I composed Shape Of You and Bad Habits,' he revealed of Cox on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East.
